1. Are children allowed at the festival?
Absolutely! Children are welcome. Those under 2 years old can attend for free and don't need a ticket. For older children and teens, you'll need to purchase a ticket for them.
**********************2. Can I bring my dog?
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome, but owners must clean up after their pets. We ask that you are mindful of noise and crowds, as some dogs may be sensitive to these. In extremely hot weather, dogs may not be allowed for their safety.
**********************3. What if the weather isn't great?
All balloon activities are weather-permitting and may be cancelled or altered without notice at the discretion of the balloon pilots and event organisers. Please note that tickets are non-refundable, even in the event of weather-related cancellations or changes to the schedule. Updates regarding balloon activities will be published on our Facebook page.

Food or alcohol is not allowed to be brought into this event.
**********************5. Are there cash machines on site?
There are no cash machines on the festival grounds. While most vendors accept card payments, we recommend bringing some cash for smaller purchases or in case of technical difficulties.

Yes, there is designated parking available near the festival grounds. However, parking must be pre-booked online and is subject to availability. It costs £5 for the day.
**********************7. Can I buy tickets at the gate?
Tickets are not available for purchase at the entrance. All tickets must be purchased in advance online through our website. Ticket prices are:
Friday: £5
Saturday: £15
Sunday: £10
**********************8. What happens if the entire festival is cancelled?
In the unlikely event that the entire festival is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, no refunds will be issued. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but we are not liable for any additional costs incurred by attendees, such as travel or accommodation expenses. We recommend obtaining travel insurance to cover such eventualities.

Yes, ensure you get a hand stamp from security on your way out for re-entry.

The festival will be open on the 12th from 5 PM to 10:30 PM, and on the 13th & 14th from 12 PM to 10 PM.

Yes, the festival is accessible, with plenty of disabled toilets available. However, we cannot guarantee disabled parking. Disabled parking is available; please inform an attendant upon arrival.

No, we have kept ticket prices low to make the event accessible to everyone.
**********************16. What are the policies on gazebos, BBQs, and security?
Gazebos, large umbrellas, and portable BBQs are not permitted. Small shade tents for children and portable chairs are allowed. Our security staff will be vigilant, and anyone found with prohibited items or behaving disruptively will be asked to leave without a refund.

1. Definitions
"Northumberland Balloon Festival", "Us", "We", "Our" means Northumberland Balloon Festival, its representatives, employees, volunteers, subcontractors, sponsors, and affiliates.2. Event Safety and ConductWe reserve the right to implement any necessary restrictions or conditions before, during, and after the event to ensure the safety and security of all attendees. You must comply with all instructions given by Event staff, security personnel, and stewards. Failure to comply may result in immediate eviction from the event without refund and potential legal action for damages or losses incurred. We have the absolute right to refuse entry or eject anyone from the event without a refund, for any reason deemed necessary, including but not limited to public safety concerns, disruptive behavior, property damage, nuisance, injury, or any violation of these terms and conditions.3. Filming and RecordingBy entering the event site, you irrevocably consent to being filmed, photographed, and/or recorded by any means for any purpose, including but not limited to security, promotional, commercial, and archival use. You waive any right to compensation or ownership of such media.4. Changes to Terms and ConditionsWe reserve the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review the most current version of the terms and conditions posted on the event website before attending. Continued attendance at the event constitutes acceptance of any changes.5. Liability DisclaimerAttendance at the Northumberland Balloon Festival is entirely at your own risk. We shall not be liable for any loss, injury, illness, or damage to any person or property sustained at the event or related activities, regardless of the cause, except for cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct on our part. You are solely responsible for the security of your personal belongings brought to the event. We strongly recommend obtaining personal insurance coverage for any potential risks associated with attending the event.6. Governing Law and JurisdictionThese terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.7. Ticket PurchaseBy purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following:Adult tickets (18+) can only be purchased by individuals who will be 18 or older on the event's starting date. Proof of age may be required.
Children (under 18) and teen tickets must be purchased by their parent or legal guardian, who assumes full responsibility for their safety and conduct.
All tickets are non-transferable and void if resold. Attempts to resell tickets will result in cancellation without refund and may lead to legal action.
Children under 2 years old can attend for free and do not require a ticket.
8. Refunds and Cancellations
All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for any reason, including but not limited to inclement weather, changes in the event schedule, or personal circumstances.
In the unlikely event that the entire festival is canceled by us, no refunds will be given. We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred by attendees, such as travel or accommodation expenses.
9. General Rules
Strictly no outside alcohol is allowed within the event premises. A wide variety of beverages will be available for purchase.
All persons and bags are subject to search upon entry. Refusal to comply will result in denial of entry.
Only well-behaved dogs on leads are allowed. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
All balloon activities are subject to weather conditions and may be canceled or modified without notice. No refunds will be given due to weather-related cancellations or alterations.
Rides, food vendors, and bars operate independently and charge separate fees.
The use of drones or any unauthorized aerial devices is strictly prohibited.
The festival lineup is subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to close or restrict access to any area of the event for any reason deemed necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of attendees.
By purchasing a ticket or attending the Northumberland Balloon Festival, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions in their entirety.
